Hi,

Is it possible to create a product that costs $25 for customers in the US, $35 for customers in Canada, and $43 for customers elsewhere?

I'd like the actual product price to change and not simply add an additional tax or shipping charge.

The site uses only USD - not country-specific currencies.

Many thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi,

What could potentially be done is to set a group to the customer when they register.
This group will correspond to their zone, this way you will be able to restrict the products to a user group so to a zone.

To set a group to the customer when registering you can potentially use the mass actions.
This can be set up like this: take.ms/8Bpqg

Thanks, for the fast reply, Xavier.

I see how this could be done using mass actions based on the address the customer supplies when registering. Could it also be done based on the shipping address they provide during checkout? For example, the customer may live in the US, but will order the Canada version of the product (a subscription) to someone on his ship-to list as a gift.

Thanks!

Yes, this can be done with custom programming to override the customer group during the checkout. We've done similar projects for delivery companies that vary product pricing based on delivery zip code, zone or state, for example.

Hi,
Please let me know know how I can find out how much something like this would cost to implement.
Thanks
