-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4

Hi all. I have two set of prices in my shop: One for "distributors", and the other for the rest. Since now, it only showed the "cheapest price", but since I have updated hikashop to v. 2.6 it always shows me both prices.

I've check out the config, and on System / Display / Default parameters for products / Price Display Method, I have marked "Cheapest Price".

Any idea of what can be?

Thank you.

Hi,

Please give us more informations of where the issue occurs. On a product detail page or in a menu or module ?
If it is in a menu / module please check their settings via the Joomla interface under the HikaShop options tabs.

Hi Xavier,

it occurs in the the product page, and I can't understand why. I attach a photo of a new product I just created where you can see both prices. I also attach the photo of how I have configurated the default parameters for products.

Hi,

Nothing has changed about that between HikaShop 2.5.0 and 2.6.0.
We always display all the prices on the product detail page, the option is for the default value of the menus and modules listing products.

So you maybe don't have set up correctly the acl on the prices, the group restrictions for the prices are maybe not correct.

On our web site we have the same problem. Our clients combine multiple price lists.
Example. One of our clients buy the product 1 from the pricelist 1 and the product 2 from the pricelist 2
As you can see from the Ver 2.6.0 hikashop shows both pricelists and not the Cheapest price as we want

Hikashop Ver 2.4.0 (Correct)

Hikashop Ver 2.6.0 (Wrong)

Please give us a solution.
Thank you

Hi,

How did you configure the prices of that product ? Could you do some screenshots of that ?
If you have several prices, it's likely because you configured several prices in the product.

Thank you Nicolas for the reply.
The product as you see has several prices according to the customers group.
Now customers can be in several groups. Before the 2.6.0 version, hikashop shows the cheapest price as we want and we had configure. At the ver. 2.6.0 if the customer is in 2 groups hikashop shows 2 prices like the images above.
Maybe the screenshots from the firebug i attached can help.

ver 2.6.0 price list (same as 2.4.0)

Hi,

If the user is in several groups, and that you have one price for each group, it's normal that he sees several prices. He'll see all the prices that apply to all his user groups. That has always been like that.
All I can think of is that you were testing before with a user group for which all his groups only corresponded to 1 price in the product.

Dear Nicolas,

i have change nothing from ver 2.4.0 to ver 2.6.0 the price lists are the same and the groups also. I have choose the option to show only the cheapest price (that's the meaning for having this option) and it's impossible for us not to have several prices and several groups. Until 2.6.0 the prices appearance was fine, and we're using hikashop close to one year now not in test mode with the same price lists and groups.
As you can see from the firebug screenshot at ver 2.4.0 you were calling the class "hikashop_product_price_full" to show the price and now at ver 2.6.0 you call the class "hikashop_product_price_full hikashop_product_several_prices".
So please tell me if it's possible to make it again as it was (show only the lower price not multiple prices) or tell me if the database of ver 2.6.0 is compatible with the 2.4.0 version to downgrade because it's impossible for us to work like it is now.

Thank you.

Ok after so many hours i found it.
The problem is the update which hikashop did to the following file
/administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/currency.php
i replace this file of the version 2.6.0 with a backup file (currency.php) i have from the version 2.4.0 and now all are ok.
I don't know in depth what is the change which create this kind of problem so i suggest to developers to investigate it and to fix it.
I suggest to anyone who will try my solution to take a full backup first before doing anything.

Thank you.

Hi,

The cheapest price setting is only for the products listings. On the product page, you always see all the prices available for the current user. It has always been like that.
If you say that you only saw one price on the product page when you had several available price for a product before the update, then the only possible conclusion I can see is that the code had been modified to do that.
You sure can downgrade HikaShop to the 2.4.0. That's not a problem. It won't break your shop. But if I'm right, downgrading won't fix the problem since it should already have been like that with the 2.4.0

Dear Nicolas the problem has already solved. I replace the currency.php of the current version with the 2.4.0 version backup file (currency.php) and now all are fine (only one price at the products page).

Thank you.
