Registration process is messy

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.4

If you haven't registered previously and you click proceed to checkout, the registration page is very messy and distracting it needs to be broken down into stages with breadcrumbs. Instead it just shows everything in one long screen.
I have marked up some stuff on the screen you are presented with when you click to proceed to checkout.
Can this be tidied up?
Further down the page there seems to be a summary of the cart. Can this be made a lot smaller or switched off completely?
