Product configuration

Hi,

I've a configurator running on most of my product pages which outline our product base spec and allow user to select upgrades etc...

Currently it's working 100% technically, however it's not immediately evident on which of the specifications are changeable/upgradeable.

Any suggestions? Not sure if there is a way to highlight characteristics which have more than 1 options but this might be an easier way for the user to understand there is content in the drop down? Feel free to take a look at the below page as an example:
