Hi,
I am completely stuck on this one again, even after reading the documentation found here
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/6...d.html#products_menu
My setup is pretty simple, I have a hikashop content module that is set to display products from a category in the home page.
The products display fine, but when I click in one of them it load up using the home page menu item, I mean, the home page is the menu item that gets the active class.
The module has 'Synchronize with currently displayed item when possible' to NO and the dropdown menu is set to 'Product Range'
Product Range is of the type 'Products listing', dis displays all my products just fine. But when I click in one of the products from that page, it also display the product using the home page link
My url looks like this index.php/component/hikashop/product/5-productname
I tried creating a menu of the type 'Categories Listing' with content module associated to it, assigned that menu to a module but it also didnt work.
I also tried creating a menu of the type 'Product' as a submenu of my 'Product Range' menu item but no lucky.
I am stuck on this
Basically all I want is to have a latest module in the home page and a 'Products Range' menu item.
The home module shows only a few products, when they are click they are link/related to the 'Products Range' menu item.
And when any product listed under 'Products Range' is clicked it gets linked under that same menu item. NOT the home menu item.
Just like normal Joomla behaviour for articles under a category that have a menu item related to it.
I must admit, it is the third time I use hikashop and I think this is an area that should be improved. I mean an straight forward task is taking me a few hour fiddling around.
I appreciate any help to solve this.
Thanks
