Hi there,

I'm using the Krizalys Breadcrumbs module, but seem to have the same issue with the regular Joomla module also.

Whenever I click a category or page (eg "Accessories") and then move to a second page (eg "Fish Food"), the breadcrumbs show the original "accessories" links, and doesn't update to where you now are - this continues to happen whether I clear my cache, go to another category or go to a product.

I've tried turning on and off "Simplified Breadcrumbs" without any luck.

Any thoughts on what I may have missed?

Hi,

Turning off the caching and the simplified breadcrumb settings are good steps.
Another one to add to the list is to turn off the "force canonical URLs on listings" setting of the HikaShop configuration.
So try again after doing that.

- Hikashop version 2.6.1
- Joomla version 3.4.8 Stable
- PHP version 5.5.32
- browser version Chrome 3.4.8 Stable
- menu: JUX Hikashop Mega Menu

Hello, we have the same problem in a site we're actually building. In another Hika webshop we fixed this problem by setting up the Joomla menu and the products, manually ( www.kwaliteitenspel.nl ). This new website has much more products, so this is a serious problem which we do not intend to fix in the same way. Can you help us to find a solution?
We already turned off the caching and the simplified breadcrumb settings. We turned off the "force canonical URLs on listings" setting of the HikaShop configuration.

Hi,

The issue apparently comes from the "JUX Mega Menu" module you're using.
It's generating the links to the categories without any Itemid parameter in them where they should contain the id of a menu item of the type "HikaShop categories listing".
That results in the links starting with component/hikashop instead of the alias of the menu item and because of that, the listing in it doesn't behave properly.
In the HikaShop content module, there is a "menu" setting where you can select that menu item, and then the module will use that menu item id in the URLs, but it seems that the JUX Meage Menu module doesn't have such setting and/or doesn't handle that as it should.

It will require contacting the developers of that module so that they can tell you what to do in order to generate correct URLs for the links of the module.
