-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.5

We have some custom item fields

When at shop landing page the item lists as follows:

I am almost 100% certain that in the past if you clicked on the image or "Add to cart", you were presented with the first image which allowed you to add the info to the custom fields. This however is no longer the case. If you click on the image it is added straight to the cart and the user does not get an opportunity to add the info.

How have we set it up so that regardless of what is clicked on the first image is displayed so that the info can be captured?

Hi,

That's indeed how it should be.
Can you try with the protostar template ? Do you still have the problem ?
Maybe there is a problem with the view overrides of your template.

HI

Cant easily test in Protostar without making a lot of changes to my module positions. Also if that how it's mean to operate then fine.

What I then need to know is what can I change in the views overrides so that clicking on the add to cart does the same as clicking on the image (but only for the view that does not have the fields showing,

Hi,

The thing is that there is no need to change any code.
The system should already have the correct behavior that you want by default.

If you want to remove the add to cart button, simply edit your products listing settings via the Joomla menus/modules manager, and in the "products options" setting, turn off the "add to cart" setting.

If nevertheless you want to modify the code displaying the products on the listings, it's the file "listing_img_title" of the view "product" that you want to edit via the menu Display>Views:

I thought that was the case but it definitely does not work now. But as previous experience shows it is probably an issue with out template. That said removing the add to cart is a workaround for now,
