Multiple product specifications and prices

Hallo all.

It's a while i'm not adding products and their variants. So i found something is changed and i don't understand what to do.

My problem:

I have product "A" which you can order with 4 types of boxes in 4 types of colours.

in the old version i added the box specification and after the colour specification and hikshop created automatically 16 variants and i could change the prices in some variants if i needed to.

Now i have the problem if i create the same product "A" and i add the box specifucation and the colour specification nothing happens in the variant tab and i have to add every variant manually .
Could you please help me ?

Sorry. Just ignore this. I had to select just all specifications in the empty fields and all became created by itself.

Nice solution !! - Would be better if i could enter directly a new price in the specification.

Yes sure. I don't know if i expressed myself well. I try to explain what i mean on my specific example which it repeats on many of my products and for me it is a huge timespending issue to change the prices of each variant.

One case:

I have one pendent (product A) which can be sold in different variants with different specifications. For example i deliver the pendent with cotton string in different colors (specification A) and different types of locks (specification B ).

So the colors are red, blue, black, brown, pink (specification A)
and the locks are big, small, hook, none, screw (specifacation B )

So i have many different combinations like five different colors which each has five different locking possibilities (125).

This is an example with 32 variants.

When i have to create all different prices by hand it takes a while. So i thought when i am at this point:

instead of a drawdown menu comes like an ajax windows which ask for selecting specifications and gives the possibilities to add different price.

Here is a simple image (sorry for quality) of what i mean


left side box is for selecting the specification you want to add
center is for the name of the predefined specification
right side you can enter the price for the specification/variant of this product
green button for finish selction

I hope this can be interesting for you.

Anyway the actual solution is very nice. Sometimes when i change something in the selected variant and i click the save botton it the page does not scroll back to the voice i selected in the list. (The following picture is where you get scrolled down when you select one variant. after you change something and you save it should jump back to the selected item in the table)

Here is an example of an product i'm editing right now.

i want to add all the variants selected. i' at the point right now where i have to click save where all the new variants become created and i would that these variants become created with an different price.

Like it is now i have to click each variant once created and i have to modify the price.
