-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.3

Hi,

I was wondering, how do I control what the size / type of files that can be uploaded using the file upload in the custom fields?

Also are the files stored on the server somewhere? Can they be accessed via the site admin as I can seem to find any files uploaded attached to the order in the admin?

On a slightly separate note, the email archive, does this store emails indefinitely?

Hi,

For the type, you can use the corresponding setting of the Files section of the HikaShop configuration.
For the size, it is configured in the php.ini of your web server.

The files are stored in the folder media/com_hikashop/upload/safe unless you change the corresponding option of the HikaShop configuration.

Regarding the email history, you can edit the settings of the email history plugin via the Joomla plugins manager and configure a limit period. Otherwise, they are stored indefinitely.

Hi,

When you edit an order, you should see the files uploaded in the "additional information" area.
If you're talking about displaying a listing of orders with the files, in that case, you can create a mass action on the order data with an action "display the results" with the information of the orders you want and the custom upload fields selected via the menu System>Mass actions.

All great apart from the file is not shown in the "additional information" when you edit an order?

There are no options on the email history plugin? Please see attached

Hi,

1. Then maybe that's because you didn't turn on the backend display settings of the custom field ?

2. There is: take.ms/e1uS9
That's taken from our demo website.
So that means that you're not using the latest version of HikaShop unlike what you wrote in your first message as this option is only available with the 2.6.1. So update HikaShop and that should help.
