Add Option Price To Variants Displayed in List

We have a product that will have several variants. We also have an option added to that main product. We are displaying the characteristics in the List display.

Currently we are able to select the option, however, its not being added to the price of the variant.

Is there a way to make options work with variants when characteristics are configured to display in a list?

We attempted to use the Table display, but for some reason that display is showing as a drop down.
