Hello,
I have been searching the boards but haven't found an answer to my question so I am starting a thread. sorry . .
I have a base product which has a base cost ? I would like to add features to this product for the user to select,. as the user selects the features, the price changes.
Simple enough I know but I can seem to figure out how to do it.
Thanks for your time in advance and meanwhile I will keep reading and tweaking to see if I can figure this out.
cheers

Wow . . ok I found it,
man there is no way to explain that procedure by typing it out. You have to just get right in there.
I am poking around with the setting and such, it's a bit much at first sight but after deleting a few try's I should have what I need.

Hi,

You can also do that with options:
demo.hikashop.com/index.php/fr/hikashop/...ct-page/with-options
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/i...ct-form.html#options

Regarding your issue with dropdowns, it seems it comes from your Joomla template.
Hard to say more without looking at the HTML/CSS on the page.

I did look for the error but couldn't find it to save my life. what do you suggest do you want to have a look at the code,? how do I get it to you? Don't know if a copy paste here is wise and the site is in maintenance mode so you cant go to it without pass word.
how do I proceed?

Hi,

1. You could provide a user test account so that we could look at the page.
In any case, the issue probably comes from your Joomla template (you can test that by simply switching temporarily to the default tempalte of Joomla and see if you still have the problem), so you could simply ask your template provider and they should be able to tell you what to do.

2. The "refresh information" is a button that appears when you don't have a browser that supports javascript. So it's not linked to the problem and you can just ignore it.

I was on line with the template provider this morning, they said check with the Hikashop people . . .
should have known, I see where this is going already.
Thanks

Hi,

As I said, we could look at the page, but for that, we need you to provide a user test account and a link to the page.
There is no such problem by default in HikaShop, so it has to come from something else and thus we can't say what to do without analazing the situation.

Hi,

I've just found a message from you on my private message box.
I've checked your product page, but the problem seems to be fixed as I don't see the dropdown issue like you your screenshot. Here is what I have:
