Cannot add a product

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.6.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8

I have not added a product for a while, and the revised screen for creating a product is not working for me.

1. I cannot select a Category or Brand. The input fields on the product input page show the null entries - (None x) for Brand for example - but I cannot select any of my existing Brands or Categories. The input field is unresponsive.

2. I cannot add an image for the product. The Choose Files button lets me select an image file, but the upload button does nothing. If I click the upload button without having chosen a file I get a (nearly) blank page with another Choose Files at the top and an OK button - but again if I choose a file and click the OK nothing happens.

Have been looking through the forum and have tried github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/7845/files, but no effect.

We'll need more information about your issue, can you :
- Activate the Joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the Joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Test it again so that you can see if it display an error message which will help you to understand from what your issue is coming.
