Alert Message shows twice..

Hello,

When popup up alert message , the text will show twice.
How to avoid it?

Your issue is probably coming from the fact that you have an issue with your email system which is trying to send 2 emails, if you have some issues with your email system, you should check that thread : www.hikashop.com/forum/4-how-to/5651-smt...ror-on-checkout.html

HikaShop uses the standard joomla email sending functions. If you have a problem only on that email, it means that the problem is the content of the email.
Fist, you should check your different settings in the hikashop configuration under the tab mail. The encoding might not be correct for your email server, it could the ad name option , etc.
What you could try also is to send an email via the interface in sales when changing an order information. Does that work ? If yes, then, the problem is really the content of the order creation notification.
It could also be that your hosting company doesn't allow you to send more than one email per thread and at the end of the checkout, two emails are sent (1 to the customer and 1 to the vendor). So you might want to check on that with your hosting company.

Hi,

There are two possible explanations for that:
1. Two different emails are sent and both fail because of the issue with your email system.
2. One email is sent and because of the issue, you get that error message, and your Joomla template duplicate the display of error messages.

If you have other messages and they don't duplicate like this, then the problem is point 1 not point 2.
If it's point 1, well, there is nothing to do as it's normal. Just fix the issue with the email system.
And if it's point 2, it's your template provider you need to contact for help.
