Hide products on category page

Hi,

I've set Sub elements filter to "Direct sub elements" in the category menu item but this doesn't hide the products on category page. On the category page I need to display only categories and no products.

If I remove the code that is rendering the products module on listing.php than once I click on a category no products will display in that category.

Please let me know how can I hide the products on the category page?
