Product display problems

I am using custom items in the business version.
I want to not have the items in a table like setting with borders, They are asking for names, dates and a couple radio button selections.
In addition I want the image and the description to be on one line with the cost and other items below that then the custom item information following.. I am not a programmer, but with some guidance I will be able to resolve this.

I tried to find where the border color was in the CSS file, but all I could find was #ccc after border:1px. I have no idea where it is set, but I really do not want a table for these items, just one after the other, like a listing with a place to answer the required questions.

The questions do not have to be answered unless they want to purchase the item, once add to cart is pressed they will need to put in the personalized answer.
