I am trying to work with your category on 1 level and on 2 levels. I have the following category structures:

product category
- category 1
-- category 1a
---category 1a1
- category 2
-- category 2a
--- category 2a1

When I click through the categories, I get down to category 1a and the modules show the path correctly. When I click the 3rd level category, they both reset to the top level and the 3rd level is not shown.

What am I doing wrong?

You can view a demo I setup at kkecom.times2technology.net

I need to sort this out quickly as my client is getting anxious about whether this will work or not. I've played with numerous permutations of the options and never get it to show a "direct sub" view for any of the modules that goes to level 3 or beyond sub-cats.

And, I do need 3 sub-category levels. My clients data requires those levels.

Hi,

I don't see the problem on your website.
When you click on your second level category, you arrive on the listing of the sub categories of that category:
take.ms/gMBhL
And then, when you click on that sub sub category, you arrive on the listing of the products of that sub sub category:
take.ms/mVVHR
And here there are no products, so the listing is empty.
That's how it's supposed to work.

If what you want is the modules on the right side to update based on the currently selected category, you want to turn on the "synchronize" option of the modules. That way, when you click on a second level category, the listing in the module will display the third level categories after the refresh of the page.
But if you want a full dynamic tree accordion categories listing module, then you can do that with the module available by default with HikaShop, and you would need something like that:
extensions.joomla.org/extension/skyline-...cordion-for-hikashop

The problem in your second photo listed below is that in the right column, the category 1 A 1 as the sub sub category doesn't list in Module Cat 1 Level. It goes back to showing Category 1 and Category 2 and that's it.

Maybe this will be resolved by doing a synchronize of the module. I will try that and see if it works!

Hi,

Yes, if you turn on the synchronize setting of the module, the module's listing will update based on the current category.
