Product configuration workflow (frontend)

Hello,

does someone know, if it is possible to display the product configuration for front-end users in a multi-step workflow.

For example when someone wants to by a computer:
step 1: color
step 2: display size
step 3: RAM size
step 4: other options and add to shopping cart

If someone has an idea please let me know!!

You'll have 2 solutions to do that, you can use Characteristics OR use custom fields of the "Item" table via "Hikahsop->Display->Custom fields".
If your product price will change regarding these options then it's better to use characteristics.
