-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.6

I referred this link : www.hikashop.com/forum/4-how-to/58247-so...p-from-carousel.html

and I am also having the similar problem. I have created category and product listing menu as well. Following is my issue:

1) When I hover on a product link then it shows me a clean url - www.example.com/reports/product/productalias.html
2) But when I click on this click, it is redirected or gets converted to /component/hikashop/productalias.html

Kindly, guide me through this

Hi,

Mmm. I'm not sure without being able to look at the listing.
I would guess that it might the "canonical URL" of your product which is wrong.
But it might be something else like a menu item not selected in an option where it should be (like a products listing module).

Hi Nicholas,

A great thanks the issue was with the canonical URL of the products. There it is set component/hikashop/{producturl}

Now I will have to remove this form every product and my problem is resolved then.
Thank you!

Hi,

To remove this from every product, you can use a mass action for that and set en empty string for the "product_canonical" column.

Hi,

Do you have created a category or product listing menu with a custom alias ?
If it is and you have a module listing products, you have to select the menu with the custom alias for the "menu" option.

Then reset the canonical urls and use that new "menu" or "module" to have the desired urls.

Yes I had to select modules and menus with proper alias and it worked for me.
