Nordic letters missing

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.6

Hi
I have made an export and import of the products
Yeasterday i worked fine and the text was as it should be.
Today when i made the same thing, the letters is not showing the nordic letters "æÆ-øØ-åÅ"
All is in utf-8 in the csv file, and on the websites.

What happend and how do i make it correct again?

What is happened???

Now i tryed again. many of the images is missing to?



This is really wierd. all worked fine earlier and we have only worked with new caterories and products.

I made a export to setup the right price_access and import the csv file again.
Now it is messing up.

Please help.

Hi,

HikaShop handles UTF8 just fine. So it means that the problem is either coming from when you open your CSV or when you saved it after modifying it or when you imported and you didn't select the UTF8 encoding format in these oprations and thus the UTF8 characters were encoded in an incompatible format.
Check the CSV you used for the import. Open it with Notepad++. In it, you'll find the Encoding menu to select the encoding to use to read the CSV file and you can also convert the encoding of the file. That might allow you to fix it, before importing it again.
