Would it be possible to move items which are out of stock to the bottom of the product overview page?

Thanks in advance for helping me out :)

Hi,

In the options of your product listings you could set "Ordering field" to "product_quantity", and "Ordering direction" to "Descending".

Need help with customisations of layouts, style or other site development? PM me!

Thank you for thinking with me :)
I really don't know where to find "the options" what you mean :(
What Jerome said, I did go through that manual, but didn't find anything usefull for this situation ..

Comment: Is it even possible to sort on different values? Let's say: 1st sort on price, 2nd sort on availability at the same time?

I think Jerome misunderstood, guessing that you might want to change the layout, like for moving the stock/quantity info to the bottom.

You'll have to edit the Joomla menu item or module of the listing in question.
Then -> tab Products (or HikaShop) Options -> section data display. This is where you find the fields I mentioned in my previous post.

You can sort on one value only, but you'll find many there to choose from, product_quantity being one of them.

I created a new menu item and applied the sort order .. that's working :)
But... when I browse towards the specific category (Coffeemachines -> Jura Occasions) what has the same link as the newly created menu item. But at that point the sort options are not applied :(
