Create trade price option for some customers

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.2
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : chrome

I've been trying to find out the best way of

1) making some customers trade customers (this can be done by admin after they have registered as a standard customer)

2) offering them a different price and checkout option

I can see the ACL price option, but it is not clear how to create a trade group

Any ideas on this?

Hi,

Your "trade groupe" is just a Joomla user group.

would it be any level of user? this is pretty laborious as you haveto deselect the ticks from every joomla user in the ACL link nest the the price on the product page

Hi,

We're aware of that. We have in our todo list the improvement of that selection interface to add a select/deselect all button for either setup.
For now you indeed need to unselect all the user groups which aren't for the price.

Do you think it would make it easier to disable all those user levels temporarily whilst the trade prices were added?

or could it be done directly in the database - if so how?

Hi,

Just disabling the user levels won't help.
In the database if you set the value ,XXX, in the price_access column of the hikashop_price table where XXX is the id of a user group, that user group will be the only user group selected in the price ACL.
