Next/Previous Buttons

I have been trying to do this without having to post here but I just can't figure it out. I wanted to change the image of my next/previous buttons. I created the file then just uploaded it to the same location as the old file. After it transferred, the image did not show, however if I hovered the mouse over it, the link worked.

I pulled up the old file to see the dimensions, maybe I had the wrong file size. I reduced the file to what the previous file had. Well, that showed the icon, however, it's showing 4 tiny images and I want 1 large image. Just fyi, the 4 tiny image was showing before I changed the file. I didn't like it.

I have attached the image showing the 4 tiny icons to make the button as well as the image I want to use.

The default arrows are placed per CSS. You may use the "inspect" feature of your browser console to see the code for how it's done.

So, to use your own images instead it's best (and a safe way to avoid your customization to be overwritten during an update) if you uploaded them under a different name, perhaps even to a different location, and then called them per CSS override.
