Hoi Hikashop team,

On the webshop page you can see that i make a label "Kies een Categorie:"
There is only one problem with i have made it from a Joomla module,
I have only select it on the page from the webshop only now it is showing on more pages:
www.webshop.techdisign.com/product/32-yc1000-gar10.html
www.webshop.techdisign.com/product/contact/cid-32.html
And that is not what I want. I only want it on the first page of the webshop.

My question is how can i make it in Hikashop and that it is only showing on the first page of the webshop.

What you see on image 1 is how i want to have it.
On image 2 is what i don't want to have.
On image 3 is it also want i don't want to have.

I hope that you guys can help me with it.

Friendly greetings,
Cairog

Hi,

The thing is that you don't need that module. Remove it and instead turn on the "page heading" option of your menu item when you edit it via the Joomla menu manager. Also, make sure that the "use menu title instead of category name" setting there is turned off.

Hoi Nicolas,

Thank you for replaying me.

I have tried what you have advice me.
I have disabled the Joomla module.
I have placed in the page heading the text what i want to show.
I have also turn it on in the Joomla menu manager but still it doesn't show on the webpage.
I have also empty the cache from the website.

Now if i reload the page with control+F5 than first i see the text Webshop showing and then it shows the rest only not what i want.

Friendly greetings,
Cairog

Hi,

Make sure that you deactivate the cache on your website when you do your tests in order to have consistent results.
What do you mean by "i see the text Webshop showing and then it shows the rest only not what i want." ? Could you do some screenshots ?

Hi,

1. I don't have that problem with the webshop text on your website. Wouldn't that be because of your internet connection being slow ? In that case, the browser might start to display what it already loaded from the page, while waiting to get the rest of the page data.
You could avoid that displaying a loading bar until the page is fully loaded with some modification to your template.
Here is a page about that:

2. Regarding the heading, I don't see why that wouldn't work. I wanted to look again at the links on your website but they don't work anymore. And if I check your website, I see that you have the old method with the module and it seems to work on the few pages I looked at.
