Hi!

I am using Hikashop with a Gantry 4 based template and can't manage to disply any module on the frontpage (haven't tried other pages yet). I've try to display custom HTML modules at the same module location and those displayed well. Any idea what I could be missing?

Thank you.

Fred

Hi,

Please try to change the default template to use the Joomla one.
Please try with modules in other pages.

ok so it seems to come from the template. I filled a support request but haven't received any response yet. Any idea how I could troubleshoot this?

Hello,

Maybe taht's mean that your template isn't native HikaShop friendly OR some custom Css have removed some parameters (whick manage module display)

Hope this will help you.

Sorry it seems way to high level for me. What specific parameters can be removed with CSS, or what a "native Hikashop friendly" template is? I'm using RocketTheme for this store, I would doubt they remove things on purpose (still waiting for a response from them), so I suppose it is some troubleshooting time to be spent.

I'm really curious as to what I should be looking for...

Thank you.

Hello,

What specific parameters can be removed with CSS

=> You know it's just a guess, but sometimes some of our customer custom their templates by switch off ( by using this /* xxx */) OR remove some properties of the Css in a precise aim but create with this action display issue.
But, if you feel don't ease with Css code you need to wait news from the template creator.

what a "native Hikashop friendly" template is?

=> It's a template develops in order to fit HikaShop structure.

Hope you will have your solution.

Regards

Ok, so the problem is not the template but the specific module I was trying to display (HikaShop Content Module) which does not appear in neither the Beez3 template or the Rockettheme one. Other modules (that I have tested) appear. So maybe it is my wrong doing for that module not to appear... need to investigate further.

Maybe something is missing or not well configured ?...

Awaiting news from you.
