Hello,

For some reason I can't upload a .pptx PowerPoint as a downloadable file in a product. Is there any reason for this? I can upload the older .ppt PowerPoints, but not the newer .pptx. When I try to upload the file, I get a progress bar that seems to work, but then the "Images and Files" remains empty. What's going on? Thanks for any help.

Hi Jazzbird,
go to system->configuration->main->files

just add the pptx extensions to ALLOWED FILES.

Hi,

See the authorized files in the HikaShop configuration

Thanks! Have you thought of adding a notification so that the user knows what's going on, instead of just nothing happening with no explanation? Such as "Upload failed. Upload of pptx files must be enabled in system->configuration->main->files

Hi,

We actually have such error message but thanks to your feedback, we found out that there is a bug which results in the error messages of the upload system not displaying anymore.
We'll add a patch for that in the next release. Thanks !
