Top Sellers and Recommended products

No, you can do that with the HikaShop Content module.
In its options, you can change the "ordering column" to "product_sales" and the "ordering direction" to "descending" and it will display a list of the products of that specific category with the best sellers first.
Then, in the category setting, you can select your main category, and in the "sub element filter", you can select "all sub elements" and it will display a listing of all the products ordered as best sellers first. So it's quite flexible.
