-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.tarmacengineering.com.au/
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.2
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.45
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : all

I've enabled automatic keywords in the HikaShop backend but they are still not showing on the pages?

If I add them manually then they appear OK.

Hi,

The automatic keywords (and meta description) are based on the product description content.
Please check that your product description is filled and that the option "number of generated keywords" is greater than 0.

Hi Jerome. Yes I can confirm that everything is configured correctly in the back-end.

I'm at a loss as to what it could be.

Hi,

Then two other things to consider:
- the keywords are filled in automatically when you save a product. Just turning on that option won't fill in the keywords for all the products in the shop.
- the keywords will be added in a meta tag in the header of the product page. They won't appear on the product page for the customer to see them as their role is to be used by search engines.

Aah, so I need to go into every product and re-save?

update - well that worked, fortunately there were only 30 or so products. Is there a way to automate this via the mass action tool?

No, there is no system to do it on several products at a time for now.
