How can I edit or delete a "root" category?

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.2
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.8
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 51.0

When I create a new category, in the "parent category" field, I deleted the default one, it then becomes "none" automatically. I thought this new one will be a "top level category", that is OK. So I clicked "save and close".

However, then I noticed that the new created category was put on the tree as a new "ROOT" ( a small ball symbol before it), but there is already a default "Root" there, which was brought by Hikashop itself. So now I have TWO (2) root categories.

How can I edit or delete the new created "root" category? I think there should be ONLY one root category.

I tried , but can not find a way to edit or delete it. Please help.

Hi,

In the category tree, you should be able to click on the category to see his "content" (the categories under him).
In the URL you will see his "category id".
So edit another category and then replace the parameter to the category_id you want to edit ; it will allow you to fix the "parent category" setting.
