Home page displays just the categories

Hello
I am setting the homepage of the shop, and i wuold like to show all tha category in my homepage.
So I associete to the item Home of the mail menu an item of hikashop " list category" but it shows the category and under that the products too.
But I prefer show just the category and not the product too. I dont understand how to do that.
Can you help me please?? there is an other way to do that?

Myabe i Found the problem, pratically when I created the first products I assigned them to their category and to the product category, so I assigned just the category they belong to, and now in home I see the category with no products.

I noticed that i created a category that now I can't modify anymore couse it looks child of root and i dont know hot to delete too.
What can i doo?? I attach the image to be clear the category name is Arredo Studio
