Hidden cateogories pagination

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4

Hi Nicolas,

I set the option "hide category when there are no products to display" active.
The pagination is set to 15 categories.

But when i look at my site i only see 14 categories (because 1 is hidden)
This looks a bit strange, see screenshot



is there a way to work around?

Hi,

There is no work around.
The categories to be displayed on the page have to be loaded so that the system can then load the number of their products and then assess if they should be displayed or not, thus, you will be able to have less elements than the 15 you configured.
It would otherwise require to load all the products of all the categories to know which one would have products and then load the categories taken that into account, but that would be too much data to process on the listing.
