Category description not showing on front end.

Good day to those who find this.

I am having the problem stated in the title.

I created a category and wanted to ad an description.
I then found that it is not displaying on the front end.
Product descriptions has no problem.

I have gone through the forum and found some answers, but none of them fixed the problem.
I have gone to >Configuration>Display and found nothing in the line of category description.
I also wet to >Display>Views and >Display>Custom Fields and nothing of description there.

I dont know where else to look or what else to try.

Please help.
