Multiple Column Display in Product Listing not working

Actually dealing with two problems concerning the product listing, but lets work on one at a time.
I just updated from Hikashop 2.6.4 to 3.0.0 in an attempt to fix another issue. But this update is forcing my product listing pages to display the products in a single column rather than in 3 columns as defined in the menu option. Is there some new option that needs to be set somewhere so that the products will display as defined by the menu?
