Image size

Hello,

We use Hikashop for our webshop, and we have run into a problem.
When I add multiple images to a product page, instead of thumbnails, I get full sized images.
Looking through the forum, I saw I can change the size of the thumbnails in the configuration, but there is a problem when I do that.
Instead of just changing the images with the class hikashop_child_image to the size i put in, it also changes the main product image.
So, if I would put in a size of 100px by 100px, the main image also changes to that size.

When looking at it from the Chrome Developers COnsole, I can also see that the source ID from the image is changed to the thumbnail folder.

Could you please help me with this?

Kind regards,

T.J.

Hi,

It's probably just a CSS problem with the template CSS overriding the CSS of HikaShop which restricts the size of the thumbnails on the product page.
Could you provide a link to the product page ?

Hi,

The problme is that you're missing the CSS of HikaShop on your website: monosnap.com/file/7htCuVWJuKNALEIAwvUjvTl2oFvRql
Normally, there is a file hikashop.css which should be in the list of files to load in the header of the page.
This can happen if you set the "frontend CSS" setting of HikaShop to "none" in the HikaShop configuration.
And thus in that case, it's normal that you don't get the CSS which resizes the thumbnails.
Here is a tutorial where we provide the CSS that does that:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/8...ling.html#thumbnails
So you can add it to your template CSS if you don't want to add the whole CSS of HikaShop.
Normally, that option should only set to "none" when you have CSS specific to HikaShop added to the template and the template provider specifically asks to do that change. If that's the case on your website, then you should contact your template provider and notify them that they're missing some CSS for the thumbnails on the product pages.
