Sale price displays differently from category to product page

Hello,
When I put an item on sale, lets say from $90 to $80, from the category page it lists it as -$10 $80 and on the product page as $90 $80.

Now I am a total noob with code but i did put in some to at least change it to red with a line through, but what I can't figure out is how to get the category page to show like the product page with the $90 in red with line-through followed by $80.

The site isn't live yet so here are some screen shots which I hope will help.

Is there also a button or setting that will produce a "SALE" notice or text on the item drawing greater attention to it??
