Prodcut customer fields missing in checkout

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.1.1 Business
-- Joomla version -- : 3.7.2
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.17
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : mozilla & safaria (latest version)

Hi,

I've 2 product customer fields where is necessary that they will also show up in the checkout process and mails.

In the mails in working fine and I'm pretty sure (not 100%) that this also works in the checkout before the 3.1.1 update.

can you please check it

Hi,

There never was an option to display the custom product fields on the cart in the checkout, even with the old checkout of HikaShop.
If you had that before, then someone had customized a view file on your website to add that display.

No - no customized view

but what is the function for the flag : Front end cart details page

cause in the mailing it works also fine - see attachment

Hi,

The front end cart details page is for the page displaying the cart. Click on your cart on the listing of your carts and you'll see it:

http://www.yourwebsite.com/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=cart&task=listing

Hi Nicolas,

thanks for the reply. That view in the cart listing is perfect. Why not in the checkout process - cause if you have 'contract' relevant details on the product level it would be great the customer also see it in the checkout.

Hello,

The checkout cart do not display product custom fields because it have generally less space than the cart page and it also have the dynamic refresh which can be weird if the number of column change by adding a product.
It is currently not plan to display the product fields in the checkout cart ; but it is something you could see to add via an override.
