Hello there,
I've just purchased Hika today.
In the product view (with photo on the left) is it possible to have a choice to put the description of the product under the Add to cart button instead at the footer ?
The web site is multilingual (italian and english). I have see the popup after activated the button "multilingual format". Why is no possible to insert the translation here senza usare Falang?

Hi,

You can have translations without using Falang.
For that, you can enter a translation key instead of the product name / description and then add these in the override area of your language under the Languages tab of the HikaShop configuration.

Nicolas,
I honestly don't know how the translation key works.
Could you please explain it? Maybe it also serves to someone else

Hi,

We actually have some documentation on how to do translation overrides here:
www.hikashop.com/download/languages.html#modify
So basically, if you enter the translation key MY_PRODUCT_NAME in the name of your product, you can then edit each of your language files via the Languages tab of the HikaShop configuration and then add such row to the override file:
MY_PRODUCT_NAME="My product name"
Then, on the frontend, the name of the product will appear as "My product name" instead of "MY_PRODUCT_NAME".

Your suggestion works perfectly. Do you have any suggestions to customize the position of the fields?
Thanks

Hello,

The solution will be to directly customize the code of the "Show_default" file of the "Product" view of your front-end template via "Hikashop->Display->Views" and use some CSS code.
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...-display.html#layout

Kind regards,
Mohamed.
