"After a product is added to the cart" popup doesn't display for variant product

Hi,

When I add my variant product to the cart, I don't get the "After a product is added to the cart" popup - www.rebuilddrunkcheese3.jroot.layer3.co..../81-ubriaco-classico

I get this popup on non-variant products - www.rebuilddrunkcheese3.jroot.layer3.co....-ubriaco-di-prosecco

Is there a way of making this work on both?

This is pretty devastating to the project. Is there any workaround? I had to downgrade to an earlier version because my later version had a worse bug.
