Hi,

If all your products need to have the same text after the price, then you can simply use a translation override of the default text there, which is "each".
Here, we explain how to make translation overrides:
www.hikashop.com/download/languages.html#modify

If you need to have different text for different products there, then you want to use a custom product field and a view override as explained in the "I sell packed products, how can I change "each" text in the product page ?" section of our FAQ:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/106-faq.html#tran

Hi,

It definitely works. This modification has been used by many users before you.
You must have another problem. For example, maybe you did it for another language than the one on your frontend. Or maybe you have an error in the language override file. If there is an error somewhere in a language file, the language file will be ignored by Joomla.
You can activate the "debug languages" setting of the Joomla configuration and then look at the page on the frontend. At the bottom, you'll see the debug area and it will tell you if there is an error in the override file.
