-- HikaShop version -- : 6.1.1
-- Joomla version -- : 5.4.7
-- PHP version -- : 8.2.3
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome

The quantity field is visible correctly on the category page with product list. (Screen 1) But it is visible with the incorrect alignment of the -+ buttons on the product page and in the cart, and, above all, it does not include the number in the central field (screens 2 and 3).

An update. This only works if I select "show selection" in the quantity display settings. If I use other settings that include -+ buttons or arrows, the number doesn't appear in the appropriate field.
For now, I'll use the "show selection" option, but if you can fix the problem, that would be great. :)

Hi,

The issue likely comes from the CSS added to the pages by your Joomla template.
One simple solution is to switch to another quantity display method.
Otherwise, it will require analyzing the CSS of the HTML elements involved directly on the pages to understand what's wrong and then write extra CSS code to be added to counteract the CSS code causing the problem.
The website URL you provided is not accessible to the public, so I couldn't look at the situation there and analyze the CSS for you. Could you maybe provide an access to it ?

So, the site is still under construction, so we're putting things together little by little.
In the meantime, I've solved the problem by using the "Show Selection" view. That works.
However, I've also seen the problem on another site that uses a different template, so I don't think it's a problem with the template's CSS.
Also, there we fixed the quantity display by changing the CSS from inline-block to inline-flex, and it worked fine. But the number in the center field still doesn't appear.
It's also strange that it appears and works on the category page, but not on the product page and in the cart, as you can see from the screenshots I attached.
We're sticking with the other method. If you happen to think of a solution, please let us know.

I stand corrected. The quantity selection doesn't work on the product page. I mean, you can select the quantity, but the price doesn't change.
However, if you add it to the cart, the price is correct there.
This is a problem, so please find a solution.
I repeat, it's not a CSS issue.

Hi,

I still think the problem is a CSS issue caused by the template.
It's common for template providers to add padding for input fields. However, with the width of the quantity input field being quite small, the padding can lead to the number in the input field not being visible.
You can try with Cassiopeia, the default template. It doesn't have padding on the input fields and the quantity input field will display fine there.
Here is a previous thread with a similar issue with one template:

Okay, I solved the display issue by removing the padding from the field where the number appears.
The issue with updating the price when the quantity is changed remains.
It doesn't change on the product page. Is this correct, or should the total price change?
It does, in fact, change in the cart. Let me know. Thanks.

Hi,

The price displayed by default on the product page is the unit price. It's normal it doesn't change when you change the value in the quantity input field. The unit price in the cart on the checkout doesn't change based on the quantity of the product in the cart too.

Okay. It wouldn't be a bad idea if it changed on the product page too. That way, you can see how much you'll have to pay right there.
Anyway, that's fine. Thanks for everything.
