Hi.
i'm trying to update my products prices using an excel file with RO CSVI extension (latest version)

when i put a 3 digits number 915 as my new price it work well, but when i put the new number 9150000 it doesnt works and i get this error :

Data truncated for column "price_value"

i asked this in RO CSVI support and they said :
"That character limit is set for price_value field in #__hikashop_price table by HikaShop and is not an RO CSVI issue. Check this field definition in your database."

but i see price_value is decimal (17,5) and it should not have problem with this 7 digit number as new price 9150000

can you help me with this ?

Hi,

As you said, the type of the column in the database is 17,5 so that means 12 digits before the decimal and 5 digits after.
So, as far as I understand, 9150000 should not be a problem.
In fact, you can try to set that price manually in a product in your HikaShop backend or via your PHPMyAdmin and you'll see if it works.
If it does, then it means that the explanation provided by RO CSVI is not accurate and there's something else at play here.
To me, it points at a bug at RO CSVI, but I didn't look at its code so I wouldn't be able to say for sure.
You'll have to talk with them again I'm afraid.

Hi,

Yes. You can use a mass action (menu System>Mass actions) with a filter "CSV import" for that.
