-- url of the page with the problem -- : not accessable at this moment

-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.24
-- PHP version -- : 7.4

Hi there,

Did the following, but it doesn't work:
6 shipping methods: letter post (0.001 to 0.999 kg) and parcel post (1 to 10 kg) each with a restriction for zones mentioned below)
3 shipping zones (Germany, Belgium and Netherlands) with the same countries as sub-zone.
Activated 'Force shipping regardless of weight'

Unfortunately only the 2 variants for The Netherlands are working. What can be the issue here?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Well first, note that the shipping methods area will only refresh after you validate your address.
So on your screenshot of the checkout, since you didn't yet click on the "next" button, the shipping methods still think that your zone is the one you configured in the "main tax zone" setting of the HikaShop configuration.
Once you click on the next button on the screenshot, it will validate the address and update the shipping method area and it should hopefully be what you expect.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks very much, it's working ;-) I was expecting to change the shipping and payment method as soon as changed the country and never clicked the next button!

Cheers!

Hi Nicolas,

Is it possible to validate shipping method without clicking the 'next' button, but right after a customer selected a country? This is what most customers expect instead of having to click a next button. The same question for the 'verzenden' (send) button after selecting the bank in the iDEAL Sisow plug-in.

Cheers,
Remco

Hi,

There is no option for these.
However, there are two things I can propose:
1. Instead of having a one page checkout, you can have several steps by modifying the "checkout workflow" in the HikaShop configuration. With this, you could have the "login" view on one step and the shipping view on the next step so that the customer would see the shipping methods after the address is entered and validated. That's actually how most online ecommerce shops work (amazon for example).
2. If you're a developer, you can modify the code to submit the registration once the country is selected allowing the shipping method to auto update:
www.hikashop.com/support/forum/checkout/...one-step.html#327316
But I don't think it's a nice thing to do for the customer experience.
