recomended social component

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- HikaMarket version -- : 1.7.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.6

hi

can you please recommend a social component that will work easily with hikashop and hikamarket. At the moment i just need the social component to have followers,custom user profile, give them points for certain tasks and utilize the points as payments to the shop.

it will also be nice if the profile page from the social component can display products he is selling in hikamarket

hi guys

already testing easy social.

i alrady installed the plugin HikaShop Plugin (v2.0.1)

unfortunately if i register using ESocial i wont allow creating a vendor account.

also the points isnt working.

Hello,

The integration between HikaShop and EasySocial points is working ; we have users who are using it.
So it should be a mis-configuration in your side.

Regarding the creation of the vendors ; because EasySocial also create Joomla accounts, I don't see how the vendors won't be created as long as your configuration is set to do so.

The action "HIKAM_ACT_PRODUCT_EDIT" is forbidden
The action "HIKAM_ACT_PRODUCT_LISTING" is forbidden

Hello,

I can't help you to configure the HIkaShop points since it's a feature related to HikaShop (essential & business) and not to HikaMarket.
But you can open a thread in the HikaShop section of the forum for that.

The message you got in HikaMarket are related to your HikaMarket Access configuration. You do not authorize the actions in your configuration so the vendor is warn that he does not have that right.
And it looks like some translations are missing ; I'll check that.

Please note that your HikaMarket license has expired but you still have some time to perform the renewal (if you wait too long, you wouldn't be able to renew and you would have to buy a new license). The license includes the support, updates, etc.
These renewals allow us to continue to work on the products and improve them ; I'm currently working a lot on HikaMarket 2.0.0 with major modifications in the order system regarding the transactions and the vendor order edition (plus a lot of other improvements).

i understand and i fully support your work. We shall be discussing this with the client this week.

on another note. can you point me to the improvements made on hikashop 3.2? and will this work with my current installation hikamarket 1.7.2?

Hello,

The constants are about the action that you're trying to perform.
HIKAM_ACT_PRODUCT_EDIT = HikaMarket Action Product edition
HIKAM_ACT_PRODUCT_LISTING = HikaMarket Action Product listing

When you cannot edit a product, HIkaMarket perform a redirection to the product listing ; when you cannot list the products, it redirects you to the vendor control panel.

For HikaShop questions ; please use the HikaShop section of the forum ; you can also read the changelog for more details.
HikaMarket 1.7.2 should still be compatible with HikaShop 3.2 since there is no compatibility breaks in HikaShop "minor" releases but it will not support the new available features (like bundles for example).
Afterwards I can't easily say for the support of Joomla 3.8 even if HikaMarket 2.0.0 will have the support of HikaInput (from HikaShop 3.2) in order to avoid some issues that we detected in some websites (where Joomla JRequest bug).
