Property not shown when add by hikamarket

Hello,

When I add a property to a product by the backend of Hikashop it is shown in the web shop.
But when I do this through hikamarket (frontend) the property is not shown in the web shop.

Would it be possible to have more details about what the property is and where it is not display correctly ?

Hello,

My products are rings and the propertys is the measure of the ring (for your finger).
The property is shown by a product as a dropdown to choose the right measure.
When I add the property through the backend of hikashop it is shown good.
When I delete the property through the hikamarket frontend it is gone. So far so good.
But when I add the property through the hikamarket grontend


the dropdown is not shown by the product.

Hi,

Okay so you're talking about characteristics and variants.
In HikaMarket (and now in HikaShop 2.5) ; the variants are not generated automatically.

It means that you have to go in the second tab, called "variants" when you edit your product, in order to manage the variants.
There, you can add new variants and select the values that you want to generate.
When you add a characteristic, you can select the default value for the characteristic, but it does not mean that it will create variants ; but if your product already have some variants, all will receive the new added characteristic with the default value you have selected.

The interface to manage the variants in HikaMarket has been build to optimize the generated variants because in HikaShop, with the automatic variant creation, if you add a characteristic which have hundred of values but you want only 3 of them ; you will have to delete a lot of products.
In HikaMarket you just have to select the combinations that you want to create and it will create them for you (and if a combination already exists, it won't duplicate it).

Hello,

Sorry but I don't think you understand me or I don't understand your answer :ohmy:

The characteristics is still there and the variants are OK.
I have a product and want to add a characteristic to that product with the hikamarket frontend editor. I can add the characteristic and the default value and save. In the editor I see the characteristic. It is OK. But when I look in the shop as a visitor I don't see the characteristic.
When I'm doing the same within the backend of Hikashop it will work OK.

Hi,

I guess that you do not understand my answer.
Once you have added the characteristic, please go in the second table to create the variants.
Your variants are not okay ; otherwise you will see them in the product page.

Otherwise, if you're sure that the product have variants and your product is fully configured ; please provide details to really explain the issue and details how the product is configured and how the product page is wrong.
Because for the explanations you gave ; it's a miss configuration of the product with missing variants.
