No brands when entering new product in frontend

Hi Jerome,

Hope all is well. Long time no hear - I've been busy with other stuff since. Now back, and finding what might be a bug...?

When entering a new product in the HikaMarket frontend, the dropdown for brands a.k.a. manufacturers is empty. There's only "None", no brand, no search field as otherwise usual.

The problem occurs only when adding a new product. When editing an existing (older) one, all brands show fine in the dropdown. Also, in the shop backend the brands are all available in the dropdown, no matter if it's about adding or editing.

This is true for HikaMarket 1.4.4 along with HikaShop 2.3.3. I've tried the combo 1.4.0/2.3.1 from a backup, and there it's no problem at all.

I've double-checked ACL and all sorts of other settings, but it's all set okay. In the database the manufacturer categories are looking fine - however, I've tried hitting the "rebuild" button in the shop backend. I've tried as fresh new regular or super user. I've tried removing all customisation, as well as going through HikaMarket system files containing the string "manufacturer", then replacing them one by one with 1.4.0 files. I've tried ruling out everything I could on the shop side. Anyhow, nothing helped, the problem persists.

Hi,

It's a known bug in HikaShop category class with the multilanguage integration.
There is a french thread which talk about it : www.hikashop.com/forum/22-market-bug-rep...ront-end.html#170810

It will be fix in HikaShop 2.3.4
