Hi,

Your payment log only contains old warning which are now fixed in HikaMarket 1.3.1 and HikaShop 2.2.3
For the rest, it does not contain anything related to paypal notification.
It means you do not make any paypal test or the debug is not right activated.

Hi,

Looking at the payment log, it's PayPal servers which crash when processing the validation of the notification.
So in such case, it would be interesting to provide PayPal's support with that log so that they can check their logs for that transaction and tell you why their server crashed when processing it.

I spoke with PayPal, but they claim that everything is okay on their end. I sent them the payment log anyway.

This is the latest email from PayPal:


"I would like to inform you that IPN and email notification are two separate things.
Email notification is something which you and buyer will receive on the email addresses, just like an information.

IPN notification is the Instant Payment Notification a service from Paypal, which will send the notification to your IPN listener. It will send the detailed information related to transaction (like success and failure) to you and not to the customers. You can use this information for your purpose. Using it you can authenticate or collect information about the transaction.

If you want to automate the download, while calling the SetExpressCheckout just specify the download link of the eBook which will be downloaded in that transaction into the variable
RETURNURL

Once user completes the transaction, he will be automatically redirected to the RETURNURL (which is specified) just put eBook download link into this, and the eBook will be downloaded.

I hope it clears out."

Looking at PayPal, I have this as my Return URL: " the-authors-club.com/index.php/thank-you " Shouldn't it be a confirmation email?

Hi,

Regarding your message and the paypal email, the only thing I can say is : I do not understand anything.

I can't say that all if working fine in the paypal side, otherwise you wouldn't receive a 500 error during the IPN validation.
So I thinking that they do not understand the problem at all.
And.. Why are they talking about the email notification ?
