Hi,

There is an option in HikaMarket to show or not the category explorer.

Hi,

I have to admit that there is no option for that.
The category explorer is displayed thanks to the "HikaShop CategorySub Type". This type use the "HikaShop Category Class" to get the list of the categories (using the function "getList").
The class does not filter the categories for their publish status but there is a filter to only show the product categories.

We can see to add an option in the HikaShop class and then use it in HikaMarket but it will result that you won't be able to access to a product though the HikaMarket product listing if that product is not in a published category. But you still be able to edit the product if you know his id ; there is not real security.

It is something which can be implement, I see some annoying side effect without seeing the real impact you are looking for.
I guess that there should have other solution that using such option, like a different structure of your categories and the use of the "root category" to just display a branch of the category tree in HikaMarket.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I've solved using CSS.
It could be interesting for the new version add a category filter "published / unpublished / all," and number of items in each category.
When there are many categories and subcategories is difficult to edit / create new products.
What will be the date of the next version of HikaShop with Joomla system tags, 2.3.1?
This will also include in hikamarket when products are created?
Thanks for the support.

Hi,

When I talked with Nicolas today, he told me that the 2.3.1 release is nearly ready.
The team is finishing the new version of the "tax cloud" plugin. Once the tests will be completed, I think that Nicolas will do the release. The most I can say is that we want to do it before the end of the month (before the french Joomla Day and the J & Beyond).

About the Joomla tags, I made the feature for HikaShop and I implement it in HikaMarket 1.4.0 too.
HikaMarket check if the tag system exists in HikaShop and call it. If you are using Joomla 3.1.4 (or newer), you will be able to use the tags.
If the tag system is not there or your Joomla does not support the tags, HikaMarket does not display the ACL for the "product / edit / tags" and does not display the edition of tags in the product edition page.
