HikaMarket handle several modes of registration.

You can have a "manual" vendor registration where user ask to become a vendor.
It use the HikaMarket registration process but this registration page allow to register for HikaShop and HikaMarket in the same time.
It means that you can have "customers" (which are not vendors) and "vendors" (which are also "customers").
The other mode is the "automatic creation".
It means that HikaMarket will create automatically a vendor account for every HikaShop customers in your store (except for guest accounts).
You can also add a joomla user group restriction, to just allow users of a specific group to become vendor (if you want to use a subscription system for example).
