Copying products and sub-sale shipped email

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.4.0 [2011031346]
-- HikaMarket version -- : 3.1.1 [2008162014]
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.22
-- PHP version -- : 7.3.18

A couple of questions please:

  1. Is there a way of allowing vendors to copy products in the vendor control panel?

  2. At the moment customers are only notified when all sub-sales have shipped but we would to notify the customer when each sub-vendor ships. Is there a way?

Hello,

1 - The copy of product is just allowed for the main vendor.
Allowing vendors to copy products would be problematic since they could have access to information they should not.

2 - That's something we talked with the HikaShop team.
With order which can have multiple shipping method (using warehouses), you can have "partial shipping" and notify the customer regarding its order update and the "partial shipping".
HikaMarket vendors just have access to their part of the order and don't see the rest. The "partial shipping" is not visible for the customer and something, he won't even know the existence of the vendors.

  1. Understood, thanks.

  2. We are using warehouses and the customer knows that their order is being delivered from different vendors and shipping methods so I think it would be good to notify him when each sub-order is despatched. Something for a future release perhaps?
