Hello
I have seen older posts (5 and 6 years ago) in your support forum about the way to filter the products in each vendor's page. Has this feature been implemented somehow?

Is there a way to have filters in vendor's page?

Hello,

Sure ; you need to use the "synchronized" setting in the module configuration.

Thank you for your reply Jerome. It made me happy even if i could not make it work so far. The filter module does not seem to have any relation to the vendor's products. For example the brands filter dropdown list shows all brands and not only the brands of this vendor.

So what i have done...

Modules:
Hikashop Filtering Module
and
HikaShop Content Module
on vendor's page.

Hello,

So you're talking about using a "filter module" and not filter the product listing module with the vendor products.
Your first message did not precise that and created a misunderstanding in our messages.

What is your issue with the HikaShop filter module ?

Forgive me for the misunderstanding, this was not my intension.

My issue with the hikashop filter module is that it does not work on the vendors page with HikaShop Content Module. What we need is to be able to filter the products of vendors on the vendor page.

The nature of the problem is that the hikashop filter module is not filtering the HikaShop Content Module on the displayed Vendor's page. You can see the settings of both modules on this thread ( #330502 ).

Can the hikashop filter module dynamically filter the products that show in HikaShop Content Module?

If not...

is there another way to filter the products on vendor's page? We have the "Display filters on product listing" in hikashop configuration because we do want to use the module in products listing. There it works pretty file.

If the "Display filters on product listing" can be enabled only for HikaShop Content Module and filter the displayed vendors products in vendor's page then maybe this is a solution.

Thank you

PS
Hope this is clear enough now!

Hi,

No, the HikaShop filter module can only filter products listing displayed via a menu item of the type "categories listing" or "products listing". So it won't work on the vendor page and the filter system is not meant to be used on product listing modules.
So I'm afraid there is no easy solution here. The only solution will require complex development to add that capability.

The problem is that the filter module does not work either on a "products listing" page.

Filters:

NameApply onType
"Category"categorysingledropdown
"Manufacturer"manufacturerssingledropdown
Price rangepricecursor

All of them are dynamic.

Problems:
1. The price range field does not show on the module before setting one of the other 2 filters or before clicking on the filter button.

2. You make a selection in the categories dropdown and you get the results. Then you need to select manufacturer according to your category choise. No way!!!.

Please help me...

thank you

Wrong alert!
Issue solved by removing the Brands category from "categories listing in which this filter should be displayed".

Sorry for the wrong allert
