Problem with Coupon and Checkout

Hi,
i have a big problem with my checkout.
When i use a Coupon-Code in Cart i cant go to the next Step (Adress). It always loops back to the cart.
Without a coupon code everything is ok.
Whats the problem here? The Coupon is a 50% coupon on the shipping price.

This case is really URGENT!

What can be wrong with the coupon that the Step Adress can be reached?

The Customers always come back to the Cart and the URL looks like "...weinkorb/cid-1"

Please help get ethe shop running again!

Found similar problem in the forums a year ago:

Hi,

Regarding the warnings in your log, there's nothing to worry about and they are not linked to your issue. It's just some missing check when doing some calculations when the checkout system loads the cart.
You can ignore them and we'll fix them in the future so that they don't appear in the log.

The patch mentioned in the other thread has been added to HikaShop 2 years ago and it is still there.
So while your problem might look similar, it's another problem.

As you read on that other thread, to be able to understand what's going on, we need first to be able to reproduce the issue (so we need instructions to do that... what coupon code to use, what product to add to the cart, etc). Then, we need to see how your checkout and coupon are configured. And if there is really a bug, we might need a backend or FTP access to be able to debug the situation.
Since you say that the issue is urgent for you, please provide as much of these as you can so that we can look into the problem as fast as possible.

Hello,

We have received your references and where able to see your issue on your website, but we weren't able to reproduce it on our website.
Plus, unfortunately we haven't the full access of your backend, in details we can't reach the main configuration of HikaShop, please adjust the provided backend access in order to have the full access.

Other point, it's really a shame that you have remove the default template (ProtoStar), suddenly you deprive yourself of being able to test with a default template, I mean, because maybe your issue come from your template ?... Restore a default template please.

Other theory, you have some override view in Display => Views, and checkout view group.
=> Try to save on your side all your override views, remove its from your website, and process some tests again.
If that didn't change anything you can restore your overrides view.

We are awaiting your returns to be able to progress on your subject.

Hi Philip,
thanks for your work.

I gave you full access to the backend now.

The default template protostar was only disabled - now you can try.

What i have tested now:
1.) With Protostar the issue is the same! And the template wasnt changed since 2 years, so i dont know why now it should be a problem.
2.) I remove all overrides in the checkout view group - but its the same problem.

The issue is only when you check a shipping method with costs and a coupon with shipping-discount.
Other Coupons (i.e. 20 € Discount or 10% discount over all) have no problem.
But the same coupon-code configured with 50% shipping-discount makes problems.

I now copied a new installation over the old files and everything works ok now!
Maybe there was corrupt files during the last update ?!?
